DitoBanx partners with MoneyGram to expand cash access across Latin America via WhatsApp
DitoBanx customers can initiate cash-in and cash-out transactions through WhatsApp and complete them at participating MoneyGram locations across seven markets.
SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador. DitoBanx, a fintech company that connects Latin America with the world, today announced a strategic partnership with MoneyGram, one of the world’s leading global payments networks, expanding cash access for DitoBanx customers through MoneyGram Ramps.
Through the integration, DitoBanx customers can initiate a cash-in or cash-out transaction through DitoBanx’s WhatsApp interface and complete the transaction at MoneyGram locations1. The service connects DitoBanx’s digital experience with MoneyGram’s physical cash network, giving customers another way to move between cash and their DitoBanx account.
What the partnership makes possible
- Cash-in/Cash-out: DitoBanx customers can initiate a transaction through WhatsApp and add or collect cash at MoneyGram locations.
- Regional coverage: USA, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia are supported at launch.
- Security and compliance: Each transaction has robust regulatory compliance processes, including KYC and identity validation.
